Smoothie Bowl is an easy, delicious, and a healthy way to kick start your day. You can prepare a smoothie bowl in less than 5 minutes and have a tummy-filling breakfast. Below are a few of the recipes I tried at home. Follow me on Instagram for more easy recipes!
1. Muskmelon & Blueberry Smoothie Bowl-
Add a frozen banana, 1 small musk melon, and 1 cup blueberries in a blender. Top up your smoothie with pumpkin seeds, watermelon seeds, chia seeds, coconut flakes, and sesame seeds for a delicious blend of flavors!
2. Beetroot Smoothie Bowl-
As a kid, I hated beetroots, but this smoothie bowl is among my favorites. Just add 2 frozen bananas, 1 medium size beetroot ( for wine color) or 1/4 beetroot (for punch pink color), and 2 chopped dates in a blender. Garnish your smoothie with fresh kiwi slices, coconut flakes, pumpkin seeds, and watermelon seeds.
3. Avocado Smoothie Bowl-
I’m not a fan of this smoothie (try at your own risk) but it sure offers a higher nutrition value. Just add frozen bananas and avocado and you’re good to go. I topped it up with banana slices, pumpkin seeds, and chocolate vermicelli!
4. Spinach Smoothie Bowl-
Well, this is as interesting as it sounds. Add 2 frozen bananas, 1 cup fresh spinach, and 2 tablespoon honey for a tint of sweetness. Top it up with chia seeds, sesame seeds, coconut flakes, and a slice of sweet lemon for a contrasting color effect!
5. Pomegranate Smoothie Bowl-
Pomegranates are available around the year and this is my go-to smoothie. Just add 2 frozen bananas, 1 cup pomegranate, and 1 tablespoon blueberries. I always add pumpkin, watermelon, and sesame seeds. The coconut flakes complete my smoothies!
6. Plum Smoothie Bowl-
Plums are rarely used for the smoothie, and it turned out to be luscious. I added a 2 frozen bananas, 2 medium-size plums, and half-cup yogurt. It gives a pretty pink color, add dry blueberries, pumpkin seeds, soaked chia seeds, banana slices, and of course coconut flakes for a colorful bowl!
7. Coconut Smoothie Bowl-
Give this one a try if you haven’t yet and thank me later. Add 2 frozen bananas, 1 fresh coconut (diced & peeled), and 2 tablespoon honey. This smoothie has a very distinctive texture. I added dates, pumpkin seeds, and walnuts on top for flavorsome taste.
8. Strawberry Smoothie Bowl-
Do you like strawberries? (Who doesn’t) If yes, if you’ll love this smoothie. Blend 2 frozen bananas, 1/2 cup strawberry, and 2 tablespoon honey. I used fresh fruits (cherry, grapes, and strawberry) to garnish the smoothie for a refreshing blend of flavors!
9. Apple Smoothie Bowl-
Apple is another round the year available fruit. This one is the simplest of all. I only added 2 frozen bananas and 1 apple. I decorated the bowl with apple slices, sesame seeds, and pumpkin seeds.
10. Figs Smoothie-
Last but the most delicious smoothie. I used a jar instead of a bowl for this smoothie. I added 2 frozen bananas, 3 figs, and 2 tablespoon honey. I made a base layer of cornflakes in the jar and topped the smoothie with overnight soaked chia seeds and figs slices.
